My personal favorites (especially for plow trucks) are Suzukis or Mitsubishis, but you can find trucks manufactured by Subaru, Daihatsu (Toyota), or Honda as well. I would look for a 4×4 with a Hi-Lo.. Convenience. Quick-mount system using front receiver hitch. Excellent visibility for plowing from the truck! Heated cabs keep you warm. Down pressure is a MUST. We did it first; we do it best. Down pressure keeps the plow on the ground and scrapes away hard pack and ice!

Discussion in ‘Parts Sales’ started by acidgear, Mar 29, 2010. acidgear Member. I have a left over demo plow for sale. It is a 72″ manual turn, actuator lift.. My plow has 400-lbs of down force. The new one is touting 600-lbs. Part of my reasoning in getting the electro-hydraulic set up was the down force. Being able to put the down force in the plow really helps if your trying to get packed snow off things. The plow showed up with maybe grade five bolts at the pivot points.
